Who We Are
Michael Bretz is a photographer, single pitch instructor, and climber who believes in elevated climbing experiences and instruction. He has built his experience and knowledge throughout his life, career, and climbing through the willingness of others to make themselves available as mentors. This is something he wants to pass on to others.
The outdoors should be upheld as a place of adventure and experience but also one where everyone feels comfortable and secure. Knowledge of the wild spaces and the outdoors themselves should be equally accessible to all.
We would love to work with you and help you increase your knowledge of single pitch climbing, adventure, and the outdoors as a whole.

What We Do
We teach single pitch climbing, share our knowledge of the outdoors, and help others, through mentorship, achieve a deeper knowledge of the sport and outdoor spaces as a whole.
Through ground school, time on the rock, and the different programs we offer, our aim is to increase our clients' knowledge to a level that allows them to feel comfortable climbing recreationally on their own.
Equity and inclusion in outdoor spaces and activities starts with knowledge and opportunity. It is our aim to provide both to all who want them.
